About Gocek, Gocek Transfer
It is rumored that its name was taken over time as a result of the communication of the local people about the migration time in the form of let's nomad. Neighboring village Gökçeovacık is known as KOYCEK PLAIN.

Two separate Regattas (sailing races) are held by GYC every year during the week of 19 May and 10 November. The races, in which many local and foreign participants take part, add color and popularity to the town.
National Sovereignty and Children's Day (23 April) celebrations have also turned into a festive atmosphere and have become a permanent arrangement over the years. Every year, visitors from the surrounding towns come to attend and watch the events in the April 23 celebrations.

Another lucky side of our region is that it can reach historical sites such as Sarıgerme, Ölüdeniz, Dalyan in 30 minutes to 45 minutes by private car or bus and minibus.
