While Dalyanköy was one of the villages of Çeşme district of İzmir, it became a neighborhood of Çeşme with the Metropolitan Law. It is located 4 kilometers from the town center. The neighborhood draws attention with its local houses, harbor, natural structure, unique beaches and cultural heritage. Izmir Dalyanköy is an old Greek village, but when the Greeks migrated from the region with the population exchange, Turks from the Balkans were settled in the region. Its old name is Köste. The word Dalyan means channel. When the Turks were settled in the region, its name also changed. It is one of the rare villages that still preserves its historical structure in terms of culture and architecture. One of the unique beaches in Dalyanköy is Kocakarı Beach. It is located on the northwest side of the peninsula where Çeşme is located. It is the first beach encountered when entering Dalyanköy. Its calm structure and unique sea are preferred. The other beach here is Ali Bostan Beach. There are sun loungers available for rent in the area, which is a public beach. It is calm and beautiful like other beaches. An affordable business runs this area. Finally, Sera Beach is located in Sera Bay. It is a preferred beach with its natural beauty and calmness. Sea water is warm. It has a shallow structure where there are not many waves. The beach, which has an entrance fee, plays music during the day and has an extensive menu.
